- We specialize in canvas stretching, custom blank canvas ready to paint, and beautiful bespoke Floating box frames. We also supply rolls of canvas, linen, a limited amount of art materials and canvas by the metre.
- 1992:Established St Kilda Art Supplies by current owner Fiona McDonald.
- 2011:Relocated to Prahran
- 2019: Rebranded as Melbourne Rd Art & Canvas Stretching & moved to Newport.
- 2022: subsequent & final move to Unit 11/15 Earsdon Street in Yarraville.

Introduction
Many of the beautiful paintings we restretch come from remote Australian Indigenous art communities through private collectors. Galleries exhibiting work for sale are Everywhen Artspace and Vivian Anderson.
Other beautiful works are created by Indigenous artists who are currently incarcerated or rebuilding their lives after release, supported through the remarkable work of The Torch and the Statewide Indigenous Arts in Prisons and Community Program (SIAPC).
We are proud to work alongside this inspiring program, helping artists present their work to the highest professional standard and supporting creative pathways that foster opportunity, confidence, and connection.
A highlight of our year is the annual Confined exhibition ,showcasing the incredible talent of The Torch artists.
